Duck Hunting in Mexico at Patolandia
During
the season, the marshes of Sinaloa are populated with millions
of waterfowl. Patolandia hosts Mexico duck hunters from November, through
the first week of March. Hunters travel from all over the world
to hunt ducks, doves and geese at Patolandia. The marshes around Culiacan are
winter home to Green-winged Teal, Cinnamon Teal, Blue-Winged Teal,
Spoonbill, Pintail (Sprig) Widgeon, Ruddy, Gadwall, Pichiguila
ailas Blancas, Black-Bellied Whistling Tree Duck, Pichiguila Café,
American Black Duck, Canvasback, Redhead, Bufflehead, Goldeneye,
White Fronted Goose, Snow Goose and Black Brant.
In
Spanish, Patolandia means "Duckland". Patolandia offers
comfortable lodging, transportation in Airboats to the duck blinds,
experienced guides, warm Mexican hospitality and lot of ducks at
some of the most affordable pricing in all of Mexico! Our Patolandia
Lodge is right on the marsh. It’s a 2 minute walk to the
airboats – that’s it! In just a few minutes, you are
whisked at high speed, just inches above the water, to your private
duck blind. Our Patolandia Hunting Lodge is located just 40 miles
north of Culiacan, and is only a 45 minute drive from the Airport
on a 4 lane highway. Mexico Duck Hunters are welcomed in the Culiacan International
Airport by a Patolandia Club representative.
We
have facilities for handicapped. There is no need for long walks,
you don’t get wet or stay on your feet all day. Most of our
duck hunting blinds can accommodate a wheelchair. Please inquire
if you have any special needs.
