What To Bring to Pintail Lodge

HUNTING BOOTS -- good, comfortable pair of boots can be a hunter s best friend. But remember, a new pair can be the worst enemy. To avoid blisters, be sure to have boots broken in before the hunt.

WADERS -- plus waterproof footwear, if not included)

DRESS IN LAYERS -- Depending on the time of year for your hunt, temperatures can vary from 20 to 70-plus degrees. We strongly recommend coming prepared for any combination. Starting with the outer- most layer, be sure to bring:
Wind/Rain layer - a comfortable, waterproof hunting jacket, preferably in camouflage or khaki, will help keep you warm and dry
Warm layer -- if your jacket doesn’t include insulation, we recommend a fleece jacket or wool sweater. Again, we recommend neutral colors in camouflage and khaki.
Wicking layer -- to keep you comfortable throughout all temperatures, we suggest a thin, synthetic shirt as your first layer. There are plenty of brands and types available including polypropylene and silk.

Shorts & Swimsuit - for the hot tub
Sunblock
Hat or Cap
Sunglasses and/or eye protection
Ear Plugs/protection

Snake Proof boots/pants if you are quail hunting
