Geese, Duck and Perdiz hunting in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
South Pioneers is located in the southwest province of Buenos Aires. This is the famous “Argentine Pampas” were temperatures, soil conditions, rain and local farmers have turned the land into one of the most productive agricultural areas in the world. This expansive terrain is mostly flat and contains many lagoons. This wonderful combination of agriculture and water is a magnet for many species of waterfowl.
Geese and Ducks are our main attraction with hunting of Perdiz in the afternoons.
During the Argentine winter (summer in USA) the geese migrate to this area of Patagonia looking for food and better weather conditions than in the southern part of the country.
You will find many different species of ducks such as Brown and White Pintails, White Face Tree Ducks, Rosy Billed Pochard, Chilean Widgeon, Cinnamon Teal, Silver Teal and Blackhead and Brazilian teal. Geese species are Ashy Head and Magellan, and Perdiz also known as Tinamou.
This duck and goose hunting programs are designed to be 3 or 4 full days of hunting. The lodge is located 2 hours driving far from Bahía Blanca´s Airport.
